WHY THE ACACIA?

The acacia — known botanically as Acacia pycnantha, or Golden Wattle — is Australia's national floral emblem and a proud symbol woven into the Advance Generations coat of arms.

It is often one of the first plants to return after fire: resilient, enduring, and deeply rooted in this country's soil. We chose it as the symbol of this society because we see those same qualities in its members — a steady determination to ensure that what is best about Australia continues, even through change.
